ITINERARY:

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA.

Depart Nairobi in the morning with a stopover at The Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment. Information from your driver guide about the formation then descend and drive to Masai Mara via Narok town. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for check-in hot lunch, and relaxation followed by an evening game drive. Enjoy the introductory game drive for at least 2 hours, witness the sunset, and drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.

Breakfast then depart with packed picnic lunches to allow you to explore Masai Mara game reserves. Kenya Tanzania safari will be characterized by several up-close encounters with different wildlife species. Masai Mara is an animal paradise that attracts a great number of tourists all year round for a great Kenya safari. The sightseeing, wildebeest, giraffe, zebras, lions, buffalos, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, Gazelles, Impalas, antelopes including the largest eland, hippopotamus, crocodiles, birds among others… The plains are savanna grasslands making it easier to spot animals at a distance. Late evening with awesome Masai mara safari memories drives to accommodation property for dinner, bonfire, and overnight.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU.

Interestingly after breakfast Kenya Tanzania safari is scheduled for a cultural tour to the local Masai people at their homes. The Masai warriors will arrange the traditional dance and teach you the jungle survival tactics. Optional participation in their morning duties and visit to their manyatta rooms. Later check out and leave Masai Mara region for Lake Nakuru either via Mau-Narok road or Narok Nairobi road. If Narok – Nairobi road is optional stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and Nature walk… We arrive in Nakuru town or at our accommodation property in the late evening for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.

Kenya Tanzania safari is planned for at least 4 4-hour game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park… The Park is a great national park with a soda ash Lake on it that attracts pink flamingos and other birds. Enjoy a game drive on the Lake as well as the main bush and forest area… search for the endangered rhinoceros, Rothschild giraffe, waterbuck, herds of buffalos, lions, antelopes, gazelle, monkeys, and baboons. Later leave Lake Nakuru National Park which is mostly visited by tourists en route to other safari destinations… hot lunch on the main highway then drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in the late evening before sunset… check in, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 5: AMBOSELI SAFARI.

Amboseli National Park is the second-visited safari destination after Masai Mara due to its immense views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. The Kenya Tanzania safari takes us to the plains of Amboseli, the observation point, the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, and finally the swampy areas with a thrilling Kenya safari game drive… Enjoy fantastic views of the African wildlife spicing your safari tour. From 1700hrs prepare to exit with great safari memories, drive to your accommodation property for optional activity followed by dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI – NAMANGA – ARUSHA.

Early breakfast, check out and leave for a final game drive in Amboseli National Park as you transverse from Kimana Amboseli Gate to Mashenani Gate… Exit Amboseli National Park and drive to the Namanga border for immigration and a shuttle bus to Arusha. The shuttle team will make sure upon arrival at Arusha you are transferred to the right Arusha Hotel. Late afternoon at leisure visiting Arusha Street, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE LAKE MANYARA.

Depart Arusha Hotel after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National for the Kenya Tanzania safari experience. Tarangire National Park is famous due to its high population of African elephants and massive baobab trees. During the dry season, River Tarangire acts as a magnet to attract wild animals, and tourists enjoy a thrilling safari experience along the river banks. The park hosts the highest number of elephants compared to all other Northern Tanzania parks.

DAY 10: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

June to October cover the North Serengeti famous for the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebra crossing Mara River to Masai Mara and combine with the Eastern Serengeti to visit the crocodiles-infested Grumeti River, visit the hippo pools and several kopjes in search of pride of lions.

DAY 12: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA.

DAY 13: DEPARTURE.
